Five on the Hill
From the road, all that is
visible is a modest wayside pavilion offering refreshments, the sale of local
produce, and an opportunity for visitors to mingle with locals. Behind the
pavilion, set within the gently sloping land, are five dome-shaped glamping
cabins finished in rustic, pared-back materials.
The domes are positioned apart
from one another, overlooking the views
and accessed on foot via a meandering pathway. The proposal covers only a small
footprint of the site, preserving and reinforcing the natural setting and
existing topography.
Individually, they provide cosy
private accommodation; collectively, they form a serene setting for small
gatherings or quiet celebrations.
